‘I could not learn or write however now I’m saving lives’

A person who could not learn or write till he was in his 20s has spoken of his satisfaction after turning into a paramedic.

Richard Henton, from Bestwood Village, Nottinghamshire, who has dyslexia, had at all times dreamed of carrying the inexperienced uniform however some academics informed him he was not working arduous sufficient at college.

“[For the] first time in my life I really feel pleased with myself and I do not feel like I’m silly,” he mentioned.

“I do know I’m not. I’ve earned my place.”
